I started loving photography back when I left my family, my country, my culture,  and my heart. {Saudades} has taken over my life. Saudades of the past, the present, the future. 

What keeps me sane are the memories, and the stories I'll be able to pass along to my kids through photographs. making distances shorter each time that love ones re-unite through pictures with who were left far away.

I am a follower of Jesus, a wife of a very special man, mother of four amazing kids, three seriously cute dogs, and one spoiled kitty. I am a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I am also a blogger for Babiekins Magazine and this is seriously a dream come true!

When I was 18 yrs old I moved to United States as an exchange student in California, little did I know that decision would change the direction of my life forever. Seventeen years later I am still here, trying to adapt and share my culture with my children. I have lived in Northern California, Oregon, Southern California and now enjoying big ol' Texas :-) I love Texas! 

I miss my family immensely, and the pain never gets smaller or easier. However, what I found to soothe the pain is my photography.  So I document my life... and my camera narrates my life story.  It narrates my everyday to my family in Brazil, and the characteristics of my little one's souls. They make the distance seem just a little smaller.

Photos also bring me back to these long days and short years of my angels lives, it brings back a flood of memories for me, my husband, and my little ones. One day they will look back at these treasures, and I will be able to share with them the beauty that was there, but sometimes forgotten-
